Vintage clothing sizes can vary greatly from today's standards. They have evolved over the years due to changes in body shapes, manufacturing techniques, and fashion trends.

As a result, determining the size of vintage clothing can be a little more challenging, but it is an essential process.

HOW AND WHAT WE MEASURE

MEASUREMENT METHOD

We use a standardized method to measure our vintage garments.

Each garment is laid flat on a smooth surface, and key measurements are taken using a tape measure. Measurements are taken in centimeters to ensure maximum accuracy.

The key measurements we take include length, width, and other relevant details for each type of garment. Below is an overview of the main measurements we take:

LENGTH: Measured from top to bottom of garment.

WIDTH: Measured from armpit to armpit.

SLEEVE LENGTH: Measured from shoulder to wrist.

WAIST: The waist of the pant is measured at the top of the pant, from the far left to the far right.

BOTTOM: The width of the bottom of the pant leg.

SHOULDERS: from left shoulder to right shoulder.
