French work jacket in black moleskin.
Made in France - Dated 1950s. Label missing.
The rarity of the black moleskin: today, it's much more common to come across blue moleskin jackets than black ones. After World War II, blue moleskin jackets were produced in large quantities, becoming a widespread and affordable garment. Conversely, black moleskin jackets began to be produced less and less frequently, until they became a rare and sought-after item.
Condition: The item has a number of repairs, especially on the bottom and collar. The black corduroy has faded dramatically.
