The Postal Service's identity and perception are closely tied to its employees' attire. Like military uniforms, USPS uniforms must adapt to repetitive physical tasks, withstand a wide variety of weather conditions, and, at the same time, maintain a dignified appearance. The historical evolution of Postal Service uniforms, in this regard, is truly remarkable.

This is a postman's jacket, produced approximately in the 1970s, with a Talon zip. The loose fit is one of the garment's main strengths: large fits have become increasingly rare, as have this type of jacket, even in the United States. In Europe, it is a truly unique piece.

The color is a gray tending towards blue.
