French blue moleskin work jacket by Tiss Acier. The fabric is an extremely soft and silky blue moleskin, with incredible color shades. Contrast stitching. V-pockets.
The brand is highly difficult to find on the market.
Made in France – Dating: 1940s-1950s.
Conditions: the jacket, considering its age, is in excellent general condition. There are defects on both sleeves, clearly visible in the photos, and a small skipped seam on the back, easily repairable. Despite the extreme softness and delicacy of the fabric, the garment has been preserved with great care. It has been subjected to careful dry cleaning, a method that we strongly recommend for moleskin, as it allows you to best preserve its structure and color, avoiding shrinkage or discoloration typical of washing in water.
