80s French work jacket.

History:
In the 19th century, the work jacket was introduced in France, and quickly became the preferred clothing for many professions. The color blue, adopted by French weavers, was perfect for hiding tears and stains, and was commonly worn by farmers, craftsmen, auto workers, and railroad workers. Carpenters, on the other hand, opted for black.
A distinctive feature of some bleu de travail jackets is the hbt cotton. Having made a comeback in the 1950s, these jackets have become icons of the vintage clothing world.
