The OG-108 winter field uniforms were adopted on December 6, 1950, and produced beginning on December 22, 1951, during the Korean War.
Initially made of 100% wool, later transitioning to a warm wool and nylon blend, they were designed to provide high thermal insulation in operational contexts where protection from the cold was essential. Their name comes from the color "Olive Green 108," a dark green specifically designed for military operational needs.
During production, two different patterns of the garment were developed, characterised by slight variations in the stitching, thickness of the fabric and construction details.
1st pattern.
Condition: excellent, with small signs of wear visible in the photos.
