The OG-108 winter field uniforms were adopted on December 6, 1950, and produced starting December 22, 1951, during the Korean War.

Initially made of 100% wool, they later switched to a warm wool-nylon blend fabric and were designed to provide high thermal insulation in operational settings where protection from the cold was essential. Their name comes from the "Olive Green 108" color, a dark green functional for military operational needs.

Throughout the production run, two different patterns of the garment were developed, characterized by slight variations in stitching, fabric thickness, and construction details.

1st pattern.
Condition: excellent, with minor signs of wear visible in the photos.
