Dutch work jacket produced by Orcon (Schuttersveld) in the 1960s, made of Manchester corduroy, as stated on the original composition label ("Manchester 100% Katoen"). The model features a boxy construction, originally designed to ensure freedom of movement while working, with a front zip closure and four patch pockets, characterized by leather-trimmed edges.
The interior is fully lined in a heavy dark blue twill, diamond-quilted at the collar, a rayon and cotton blend, a typical solution for workwear of the period. The zippers are simple and unbranded.
This particular model represents a traditional style of Dutch workwear and was produced in several fabric variations, including moleskin and corduroy.
The jacket is in excellent condition. The leather trims on the pockets show slight wear consistent with the age and use of the garment, while overall it has no significant defects.
Size indicated on the label: 46
