Questa tipologia di capo era indossata principalmente dalle classi agiate durante le battute di caccia in Francia dalla fine del XIX secolo alla metà del XX secolo, attività estremamente diffusa e parte integrante della vita quotidiana.
In condizioni eccellenti, l'esterno presenta una piccola imperfezione visibile nell'ultima foto e una piccola toppa sotto una manica.
