This leather jacket, dating back to the 70s and produced by the renowned French brand GVF Impercuir based in the southwest of France, is an iconic piece of civil aviation. Originally intended for French pilots, it stands out for its functional design and quality of workmanship.
Crafted from extremely thick yet soft and comfortable sheepskin or lambskin, the jacket offers a sturdy, boxy fit. It features an Italian-style collar, which can be turned up for extra protection. The front features an Eclair zip, giving it a bold, authentic look.
A distinctive detail is the flap pocket on the chest, designed to clip badges, while the pocket on the left sleeve has historically been used to store cigars. The double loop construction and high-quality zipper enhance its functionality.
This jacket, appreciated for its classic style, was also a source of inspiration for the famous designer Martin Margiela and has become extremely popular in recent years. On the inside there is the original label of the brand.
