Nel 1973, l'esercito americano introdusse le uniformi di servizio OG 507, realizzate con una miscela di poliestere e cotone. Questa nuova uniforme, caratterizzata da una "stampa durevole", rappresentava un significativo cambiamento rispetto ai materiali precedenti. Lavabili e più facili da mantenere, le uniformi avevano grandi etichette gialle e chiusura a cerniera.

Queste uniformi, insieme alle OG-107, rimasero standard fino all'introduzione delle BDU nel 1981, con un colore verde scuro e kaki.

Gli OG-507 come i precedenti OG-107 presentavano un colore verde scuro e kaki.

Materiale: 50% cotone e 50% poliestere.
