Italian Navy rain jacket, dating back to the 1980s/1990s. Made of fully waxed canvas, it was designed to offer maximum rain protection in harsh operational conditions. Most likely used for deck operations, it features a functional and durable construction. The drawstring closure at the neck, adjustable hood, and two adjustable buttoned cuffs provide excellent adaptability and weather protection. The aesthetic is clearly reminiscent of the US Navy deck rain suit of World War II, with a loose, short silhouette designed for freedom of movement. The interior is lined with cotton for added comfort, while side ventilation holes enhance breathability.
