Levi's 501s were born in 1873 as the world's first jeans, originally designed as workwear for miners in the American West. Over time, they have become a symbol of rebellion and freedom, worn by generations of workers, artists and style icons. The button closure, straight cut and resistance of the fabric have made them the most iconic model in the history of denim, still celebrated today for their connection to pop culture and fashion.
