The M-65 jacket was introduced in 1965 as part of the standard uniform of the United States Army, designed to meet the needs of soldiers during the Vietnam War. Replacing the M-51 jacket, the M-65 became a staple item for military personnel, characterized by its practical design and its numerous pockets for carrying equipment and other materials needed in the field.
